The data has evolved through a series of scientific workers, becoming a new type of applied material, born in production workshops, and transported to the places required for national construction.

      Feeling at the persistence and simplicity of these twenty years, this small laboratory is actually the place where I have worked for most of my life. Every time I pick up a small sample, amidst the buzzing sound of the polishing machine, I admire the small sample swirling on the metallographic sandpaper. The sound of friction is so beautiful. Listening to the familiar and friendly grinding sound that has not been gone for more than 20 years, hope and satisfaction can always rise in my heart. Just listening to the sound can tell if my small sample has been ground!

    Today is Equipment Maintenance Day, and Chain Energy's maintenance engineer Xiao Wang has come as scheduled to provide maintenance for the equipment. He is a young man with spirit, clean and agile work, and agile hands and feet. I like it! After finishing the work, help me clean the metallographic sandpaper pasted on the iron plate. The sandpaper has been worn out and needs to be replaced, which is a bit troublesome because the sandpaper is pasted on the iron plate with adhesive backing. Every time I intentionally or unintentionally find it difficult to clean the adhesive backing, I leave it to Xiao Wang to clean it. Xiao Wang Yi is patient and meticulous in helping me clean it thoroughly. This time, while cleaning up, Xiao Wang smiled and said, "Teacher Li, you see how persistent this adhesive is. You don't want to leave without saying anything, it's really exhausting! I have brought a newly developed adsorption film to give you a try. It is said that the adsorption film can replace the back glue and clamp. You can directly attach the adsorption film to the metallographic sandpaper and then attach it to the grinding disc, which is very convenient. I have never used it before.     It's really amazing that such a small transparent film is so magical! Attach it flat to the back of the metallographic sandpaper, then gently squeeze out the air with a rolling brush, and the film firmly adheres to the metallographic sandpaper. Then place the sandpaper flat on the grinding plate, okay! You can grind with confidence! There is a small note to note when applying the film, which is to push it parallel from one side and gradually squeeze out the air inside, so that the two bonding surfaces are firmly attached together. It is difficult to separate the edges without prying them up with your hands. After use, when it needs to be replaced, pry up the edges first, and the entire film will be separated from the sandpaper or grinding plate without any residue. Unexpectedly, after decades of using clamps and adhesive, today it can be upgraded to an adsorption film, which is clean, easy to replace, and environmentally friendly. It's really easy to use!

      The updates in technology are really changing with each passing day. Even with such a small application of metallographic sandpaper, there will also be more humanized design inventions. I am amazed by the manufacturing spirit of merchants who strive for excellence, and I am even more gratified by the rapid development of technology in this era.
