On the morning of September 14, 2018, at the School of Polymer Materials and Engineering, Donghua University,&quo; State Key Laboratory of Fiber Material Modification&Leica Instrument Co., Ltd& Flash; Joint laboratory construction; Unveiling ceremony. The Leica Microscope officially launched a collaborative journey with Donghua University to assist in the scientific research of fiber materials.


The fiber material discipline is a National Key Disciplines. The State Key Laboratory for fiber material modification was approved by the State Planning Commission in 1992 and was established on the basis of years of research by the College of Polymer Materials and Engineering and the Chemical Fiber Research Institute of Donghua University.

    In the morning, after the unveiling ceremony, Leica microscope product application experts gave a special lecture to the college teachers and students. They also systematically introduced Leica microscope's newer products and provided on-site Q&A for the teachers and students. The professional, witty, and infectious explanations of product application experts have provided teachers and students with a deeper understanding of the application of Leica microscopes, leading them into the colorful micro world of Leica microscopes.

    After the lecture, the students were still not satisfied and took their samples to the Leica microscope for observation on site. Together with Leica's application experts, they discussed observation methods, angles, analysis, and selection to determine the plan.


It is believed that the cooperative laboratory will be able to take on the important task of research on fiber materials, a National Key Disciplines, and can also cultivate a number of outstanding talents. These ambitious and diligent students are the future of China's material development.
